AmCare™ Phone Gateway is a convenient telephone interface for patients or care providers to enter information into the AmCare database. For instance, patients can enter weights or blood pressures over the telephone. Users can ask to be notified when these values lie beyond their patients’ goal range, or when values fail to arrive when they are expected. Information can also be entered through email, text files, or (in the case of graphical information) through facsimile.

Should a provider or an AmCare user with no computer require a patient summary on demand, a PIN-protected fax interface can send a patient summary immediately to the caller’s fax machine.
