AmCare™ Data Interfaces
Push or pull data into AmCare™ from other information systems.

AmCare can run as a stand-alone solution for organizations without "legacy systems," where all information is entered by AmCare users themselves. It is optimized to let users enter patient information quickly and efficiently, whether lab results, subjective data, assessments, drug prescriptions, hospital visits, transcriptions, or demographics. But this can be just the beginning.

Give legacy data a new lease on life.

Many larger health organizations already have data warehouses and legacy systems, where information resides that is helpful to AmCare users. AmCare can pull information from these sources on a regular schedule, or interfaces can push information to the AmCare database. Therapeias has already built AmCare interfaces for:

Paper and telephone interfaces: When old technology is the best technology.

AmCare has other interfaces in addition to these "computer-to-computer" interfaces. A document interface enables organizations to create or adapt their own scannable documents, allowing providers to enter information in the most efficient way yet developed: On paper. And a telephone interface allows users or patients with the appropriate security privileges to enter results, answer questions, or receive fax-back executive summaries of their charts (for instance, if hospitalized abroad).

Therapeias consultants can help your organization evaluate the most effective media for moving information into AmCare.

What goes in can also come out.

Because AmCare data reside in a standard Oracle database, information can be exported in a wide variety of ways. In addition, users can export certain data to their desktops as spreadsheets, text documents, or formatted and printed documents.
